About

The Divine Mercy-Centered Family (Dimercef) was created to help families keep and receive in faith, and put Christ at the center of family relationships through the Divine Mercy devotion.

The Divine Mercy devotion is a modern devotion to the attribute of God’s infinite mercy that was promulgated by St. Faustina Kowalska in Poland, and later to the the Universal Church by Pope St. John Paul II (“The Mercy Pope”).

How my personal life and spiritual journey started?

My arrival and existence in this world was felt with so much joy by my parents doubled if I may, obviously because it was Christmas and I am the first-born child in the family.

We were poor socially but rich spiritually because I was blessed in having these two very important and wonderful persons in my life during my childhood, my beloved mother and
my grandmother who patiently guided and taught me spiritually.

My spiritual training ground was through praying the rosary, hearing mass on Sundays, and holy days of obligation. Consequently, I oftentimes was delegated to lead the rosary and novenas. As a Marian devotee, I joined and became a regular member of the Legion of Mary.

In 2011, I became a member of the Brotherhood of Christian Businessmen and Professionals (BCBP) in Ormoc City, PH. The BCBP is a community of like-minded Christian businessmen and professionals who have consciously decided to band together to bring about the transformation of the marketplace.

I am currently working in the Philippine Social Security System; UNICEF Champion for Children; UNHCR Partner; and also a Founder of the Dream BIGtoP.

These were the chronology of events before I started my devotion to the Divine Mercy of Jesus:

First, Jesus miraculously appeared to my family on April 22, 2018 on our way to the church that coincided the day Pope St. John Paul II celebrated the first anniversary of the Divine Mercy Sunday in April 22, 2001. And the first who canonized St. Faustina and designated the Sunday after Easter as the Sunday of the Divine Mercy.

Second, I was able to share to my group during the 2018 BCBP National Anniversary Celebration in Olongapo City of God’s manifestation. On May 02, I collapsed and passed out after a very stressful travel on April 25-29, 2018. Through His divine power, love and mercy, I abruptly recovered and regained my consciousness after a few seconds. I might not be able to start my devotion to the Divine Mercy, and published the Dimercef blog site.

Lastly, on May 14, 2018, my family and I, decided to be a devotee of the Divine Mercy of Jesus and started praying the Divine Mercy of Jesus chaplet without ceasing. I realized that there was a total of 22 days from His appearance on April 22, and on May 14 that we started our devotion to Him. Is that a coincidence? There are two 22’s.

I knew it’s not a coincidence. It was God’s will to direct and designate me and my family to become a devotee and advocate for His work of mercy and that He send His Advocate (the Holy Spirit) to speak to my heart.

In John 15:26, it says that, “I will send you the Advocate — the Spirit of truth. He will come to you from the Father and will testify all about me.”

Yours in Christ,
